Pride and Prejudice the new adaptation of Jane Austin’s classic novel, was filmed at Burghley House in 2004.

The main part of the house has 35 major rooms on the ground and first floors. Burghley today is a living/working house with a stunning orangery tea room, shop, art gallery, and an extensive sculpture garden…..The house extends for nearly a quarter of a mile and passes through many rooms where 400 paintings are on display.

Belton House was recently used as the backdrop for the adaptation of the new version of Jane Eyre by Jane Austin.
Built in 1685 – 89 for Young Sir John Brownlow, Belton House is on of the finest examples of restoration of a charming English House with truly stunning interiors containing fine wood carving as well as important collections. The house is set in a beautiful landscaped deer park with all year round walks – Belton House is a truly wonderful historic house and now managed by the National Trust.
